(IsraelNN.com) In line with the Defense Ministry decision to recognize fallen members of Yesha (Judea, Samaria, & Gaza ) first-response teams as 'fallen soldiers', military tombstones have been permitted for three such persons.



On November 15th terrorists opened fire at soldiers on Friday night as worshipers returned towards Kiryat Arba from Sabbath evening prayer services in the Cave of the Patriarchs (Ma'arat HaMachpela). 12 persons were murdered and close to 20 wounded in the attack. 9 of the victims were military personnel and 3 were civilians.

**Alexander Dohan, 23, from Kiryat Arbam,

**Yitzhak Buanish, 46, from Kiryat Arba, all members of the local first-response unit.



At 9:15pm on June 20th, a terrorist infiltrated the southern area of Yishuv Itamar in the Shomron murdering five, four from one family.



**Yosef Twito was murdered by gunfire while acting in his capacity as a member of the local first-response team.



Defense Minister Shaul Mofaz recently decided to comply with a request to recognize such persons as military personnel, permitting a military funeral, tombstone, and rights for the bereaved families.
