US Ambassador to Israel Dan Shapiro said on Monday that “America’s commitment to Israeli security will never be hurt.”
According to Shapiro, “The BDS (Boycott, Divestments, Sanctions) movement has a clear anti-Israel agenda, but without a peace process, it makes it hard for the US. Israel must avoid unilateral measures in the field, such as construction in the settlements.”
Shapiro added that “The Palestinians must condemn violence, stop inciting and express a commitment to a two-state solution.”
