MK Mickey Rosenthal (Zionist Union) has commented on the Supreme Court decision to reject the gas outline.
"There are judges in Jerusalem and eventually justice will come - even if it delayed," he said. "Netanyahu tried to aggressively and anti-democratically force the gas outline through and he was stopped by the Supreme Court. The security claims, just like Prime Minister's economic ones, ignored the public's intelligence and were ultimately intended to please the members of the shareholders' club."
Rosenthal added, "The Supreme Court Justices, like the masses who took to the streets to demand what we're due have made an important statement today: the reality is changing, even if you're the Prime Minister who claims that he 'gets what he wants.' Public awareness and the social justice will even beat the strongest tycoons in the market. This is a victory for all of us."
