Police in Italy have arrested an Algerian man on suspicion of having forged documents for terrorists involved in the Paris and Brussels attacks, Reuters reports.

The suspect, 40-year-old Djamal Eddine Ouali, was caught near the southern city of Salerno. Belgian authorities reportedly issued an arrest warrant.

When security forces raided an apartment in Belgium last October, they found his name in documents that also contained pictures of the Paris and Brussels attackers.

Italian authorities are expected to extradite him to Belgium sometime this week.
