The team negotiating a peace deal between the Colombian government and rebel FARC group missed the deadline set for a deal to be reached, but will continue with the peace talks in order to end the war between them.
“In all honesty, we must let the public know that there are still significant gaps between us and the FARC,” the head of the government’s negotiating team said.
