The Belgian government rejected criticism made against the government by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who said on Wednesday that it was up to Belgium to arrest terrorist Ibrahim El Bakraoui after he was expelled from Turkey and arrived in Belgium.
Sources within the country said that Belgian authorities were unable to arrest El Bakraoui, since no evidence incriminated him.
