Tens of Samarian residents read Megillat Esther (Book of Esther) on Thursday morning at the grave of Yehoshua bin Nun in the Arab village of Kifl Haris, located near Ariel.
The event was coordinated by Samaria Regional Council head Yossi Dagan and was guarded by IDF soldiers and officers.
Following the reading, Dagan thanked the soldiers who guarded the worshippers and said that “The entire nation of Israel is deeply moved by the bravery of IDF soldiers during this complicated time.”
