Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and his wife Sara, on Wednesday evening hosted Danish Prime Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen and his wife Solrun for a private dinner at the Prime Minister's Residence in Jerusalem. Netanyahu welcomed them and said, "Welcome to Jerusalem. We are happy to host you here." The Danish Prime Minister thanked him and said that he and his wife were pleased to be in Israel.

Sara Netanyahu invited Danish Prime Minister Rasmussen to sign the official guest book and told him and his wife about the antiquities at the residence, including their historical origins.

Danish Prime Minister Rasmussen and his wife arrived on Wednesday for a five-day visit as part of a private vacation. This is their first visit to Israel.
