The Interior Ministry announced that, due to the flow of waste into the sea as a result of a waste management malfunction in Herzliya, certain beaches in central Israel may not be used for swimming until further notice.
The affected beaches include the Acadia South Beach, Hasharon Beach and Hatzok Beach North in the Herzliya and Tel Aviv regions.
