MK Avigdor Liberman said on Monday that he turned down Interior Minister Aryeh Deri’s offer to join the government. According to Liberman, Deri turned to him after consulting with members of the coalition.
Liberman said that “I have nothing against Prime Minister Netanyahu. The dispute is one of principle. Our position is clear. We defined 10 appendices that must be met in order for our party (Yisrael Beytenu) to join the government. Until our demands are met, there is nothing to talk about.”
