Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei claims that all of the US presidential are competing over who can be the most hostile towards his country, Reuters reports. He also said the US government is actively harming the Islamic Republic's economy.
Khamenei gave a televised speech in honor of the Iranian new year, in which he said: "The US Treasury .... acts in such a way that big corporations, big institutions and big banks do not dare to come and deal with Iran."
He added that "The candidates for the American presidency have competed to vilify Iran in their speeches, and this is a sign of hostility."
