Intelligence Minister Yisrael Katz expressed sorrow following the death of former Mossad head Meir Dgan and noted Dagan’s great contribution to the country’s security, implemented in public and hidden ways.
“The State of Israel, its citizens and Jews from all over the world are greatly indebted to Meir Dagan for his actions throughout his many years of service in the security field and in his last role as head of the Mossad. He made a great contribution to the security and strength of the State of Israel in the face of close and far-off threats. May he be of blessed memory.”
