The French Foreign Ministry announced on Wednesday that Paris is extremely concerned by Israel's designation of territory in Judea and Samaria as state land, and called the move a “violation of international law that contradicts the two-state solution.”
“France is extremely concerned by the decision made by the authorities in Israel regarding lands in the West Bank,” the French Foreign Ministry’s spokesperson said. “The settlements are a violation of international law and contradict the commitment Jerusalem made regarding a two-state solution to the conflict.”
