A Jerusalem district court sentenced an Arab Hevron resident to 17 years in prison for attempting to murder a border police officer. The terrorist was also ordered to pay the officer a 40,000 shekel fine.
According to the charges, the terrorist tried to murder a border police officer at Jerusalem’s Damascus Gate last June. The sentence was handed down within the frameworks of a plea bargain.
