The heads of the Knesset’s Land of Israel Lobby, MKs Yoav Kisch and Bezalel Smotrich, responded on Monday evening to reports that secret talks are being held on potentially transferring cities within Israel to the Palestinian Authority.
“The government has no mandate to return to gestures from the Oslo Accords. Whoever imagined that there is a trustworthy partner (within the PA) has clearly not been here in the past 20 years. Instead of a plan to retreat, we must promote full control and sovereignty over the entire country,” the two indicated.
