Russia is accusing Turkey of carrying out military operations against Kurdish targets in Syria, Associated Press reports. The alleged operation took place before this evening's (Sunday) explosion in Ankara.

In addition, Turkish authorities have placed two predominantly Kurdish towns under curfew. One town, Yuksekova, is located near Iraq and Iran, while the other, Nusaybin, is on the Syrian border.

Dogan news reported that tanks were waiting near a school in Nusaybin earlier today.
