Tens of thousands of documents on ISIS members, including names, telephone numbers, addresses and information on relatives, have been leaked to German intelligence, Sky News reports.

According to the report, the documents were stolen from the head of ISIS's security department. They were then leaked by a former Syrian soldier who defected to ISIS but became disappointed in the group's leadership and left.

It was further stated that documents include the names of more than 12 UK citizens and several dozen people from the US who joined the terror group.
