The trial of former Chief Rabbi of Israel Yona Metzger will begin on Thursday at a Jerusalem district court. He will be asked to plead guilty or not guilty to the charges made against him.
Rabbi Metzger was indicted for accepting bribes, money laundering, tax crimes and other offenses while serving as Chief Rabbi of Israel.
