The Knesset’s Economics Committee approved on Wednesday a series of limitations regarding the use of electric bicycles and scooters, initiated by Transport Minister Yisrael Katz.
Electric bicycles and scooters can no longer be used by children and youths under the age of 16. In addition, electric scooters will not be allowed to operate at speeds over 25 kilometers per hour.
