The Constitution, Law and Justice Committee will debate on Sunday the proposed “Muezzin Law,” initiated by MK Moti Yogev (Jewish Home).
The proposed bill forbids places of worship, including mosques, from using loudspeakers to call to prayer. A similar model is already in place in Switzerland.
