Updated results from the election in Iran show that President Hassan Rouhani's "reformist" party, List of Hope, has won all 30 seats in Tehran. Ninety percent of the votes have been counted so far, BBC reports.
The elections, which were held on Friday, are for the 290 seats in parliament and the Assembly of Experts. The latter body chooses the Islamic Republic's Supreme Leader, a function it may have to carry out in light of Ayatollah Khamenei's poor health.
