Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotovely (Likud) has expressed her support for deporting the families of terrorists, and says that she is convinced a legal means to do so can be found.
"Deporting terrorists is a necessary step in order to increase our deterrence against lone attackers," said Hotovely. "When Iran, together with the Palestinian Authority, nurtures finance systems for the families of terrorists and compensation systems for the homes that Israel destroys, we must give them the message that whoever attacks an innocent civilian in a terror attack will be expelled from his natural environment and deported."
She emphasized that "A legal formula to allow this can be found."
