Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon (Kulanu) has ordered that funds for security guards at educational institutes throughout Israel be increased to keep the guards until 4:00 p.m.

The money will come from the Public Security Ministry and local councils. All councils that choose to continue and increase the protection will be able to so and receive money in return for implementing the directive.

Communities with weaker socioeconomic structures will receive full funding from the state, while those at socioeconomic levels five to ten will receive a 70 percent subsidy.
