MK Moti Yogev (Jewish Home) handed the Defense Minister an urgent question on Sunday, regarding the IDF’s change in policy vis-à-vis religious soldiers’ bears, following reports that hundreds of soldiers who grow beards for religious reasons will be forced to shave their facial hair on Wednesday.
Yogev asked Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon to probe the matter and return the authority regarding religious soldiers’ bears to the Military Rabbinate.
