The White House is reportedly considering nominating Brian Sandoval to serve on the Supreme Court, replacing Antonin Scalia.

Many believe that Sandoval, the Republican governor of Nevada, is the only candidate who could win approval from the Republican majority in the Senate, the Washington Post reports.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) has promised to stall any nomination made by President Barack Obama. He insists that the choice should be held off until the next president.
