The Jewish National Fund (JNF, KKL) in Canada cancelled its financial support of the Yom Ha’atzmaut (Israeli Independence Day) celebrations planned for the province of Vancouver, due to the scheduled performance of singer Achinoam Nini, Haaretz reports.
According to the reports, the move was motivated by the fury of Jewish Canadian activists following Nini’s recent leftist statements.
