MK Ofer Shelah (Yesh Atid) responded on Thursday to statements made by IDF Chief-of-Staff Gadi Eisenkot against the midrashic slogan, “ He who comes to kill you, kill him first.”
“The IDF Chief-of –Staff’s statements clearly and concisely express the principles of battle that generations of soldiers have been taught, from the days of Ben Gurion, untilt his very day. Whoever attacks Eisenkot on this matter attacks the spirit of the IDF and the foundation of its might.”
