Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon spoke on Thursday morning about IDF Chief-of-Staff Gadi Eisenkot’s new protocols for opening fire.
“I completely support what Eisenkot said regarding protocols for opening fire. We cannot allow our senses to dull and allow our fingers to become trigger-happy… We must act with calmness and collectedness, without harming the innocent and creating a situation where boiling blood causes us to lose our sense of humanity and principles.”
