The Supreme Court accepted on Thursday an appeal made by Nir Somech, the border police officer sentenced to 14 years in prison for murdering his friend on Kibbutz Zikim in 2009.
The judges determined that there is enough reasonable doubt regarding whether the death was a result of murder of self-defense.
