Appeal filed against decision to close Yosef Salmasa case

MKs Avraham Nagosa and Ksenia Svetlova filed an appeal on Wednesday morning against the Yosef Salmasa case, claiming that closing the case is a form of “Negligent behavior that hurts the feelings of an entire community and causes a complete loss of trust on the part of the Ethiopian community in the police.”

Salmasa went missing and committed suicide several months after being detained by police, who used a Taser gun to subdue him. Salmasa was accused of breaking into a house, which he staunchly denied.
