The Ministry of Interior announced on Tuesday that the beach in Kiryat Yam is safe for swimming. Laboratory tests indicated that there are no longer any pollutants in the waters.
That being said, the Interior Ministry emphasized that swimming season has yet to begin and so it is dangerous and forbidden to swim at public beaches without the presence of lifeguards.
