Transport Minister Yisrael Katz responded on Tuesday to the fatal collision on Highway 1, which claimed the lives of six passengers of a number 402 bus traveling from Jerusalem to Bnei Brak.
“The bus driver drove with criminal negligence and must be held responsible... We cannot absolve the drivers of responsibility and so we will act to install life-saving warning systems. According to all studies, when these sensors are installed in the vehicles, there is a decrease in the amount of casualties.”
