Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu spoke out against criticism of the “Suspension Bill” during a press conference in Berlin with German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
Netanyahu said that “Democracy cannot be taken advantage of in order to lead to its collapse. When elected officials support movements who further the principle to destroy Israel; when they support terror and stand silent to commemorate child-murderers, the Knesset must act against them. I spoke with the Knesset Speaker and told him that we will continue with the legislation.
