Moroccan Jews are trying to renew peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians, Channel 2 revealed last night (Monday).
According to the report, Israeli public figures will meet with 20 Palestinian Authority ministers in Jerusalem on Thursday. This will be the first such meeting to ever take place.
The person behind this effort is Sam Ben Shitrit, the head of the World Federation of Moroccan Jewry, and the king of Morocco has given his support.
