Russia to ship missile system to Iran in 'nearest time'

The Russian Foreign Ministry says that it will begin delivering the S-300 air defense systems to Iran in "the nearest time," RIA news reports.

The report noted that the Islamic Republic has also expressed a desire to purchase the S-400 system, an improved version of the S-300, though Russia has not responded to the requests.
