The head of Iran's air force says that his country is ready to help Syria defend its airspace.
"We will help in every way possible should the Syrian government as us," he said.
Earlier today (Monday), it was reported that Saudi Arabia sent ten planes to assist with the fighting in Syria. Riyadh claims that its efforts would target ISIS, but Iran and Syria are opposed to any Saudi intervention in the area.
