MK Nahmias-Verbin: 'We won't stand idly by' while MKs support terrorists

MK Ayelet Nahmias-Verbin (Zionist Union) has commented on the expected discussion on the Joint List MKs' meeting with the families of terrorists.

"This morning, we will meet at the Knesset Committee at 11:00 am, in order to decide how to deal with the Arab MKs who decided, again, to place their relations with Israeli society to the test," she said. "Ultimately, one day after Hadar Cohen was murdered, the Balad MKs thought it would be reasonable and appropriate to meet with the families of the murderers in order to work on the issue of the terrorists' families. We will not stand idly by - just as Maya, who was injured in the bus attack, asked of me and just as Micha, the son of Richard Leikman, asked of me."

MK Nahmias-Verbin added: "I invited Micha Avni, Leikman's son, to come to the discussion, because we must remember the faces behind the terror attacks, those whose lives are destroyed, sometimes without renewal."
