The UN Security Council has issued a strong condemnation of North Korea's recent long-range rocket launch. The body also says that it will add another sanctions resolution against Pyongyang.
The Security Council met in an emergency meeting today (Sunday), on the request of South Korea, Japan and the US.
The North Korean government claims that the launch carried a satellite, though many believe that it was really testing a ballistic missile. Such a move, as well as Pyongyang's recent nuclear test, goes against UN resolutions.
