The IDF's Homefront Command will conduct an exercise in southern Israel, starting tomorrow (Monday) and concluding Thursday afternoon. The exercise will involve significant numbers of security forces traveling through Ashdod, Ashkelon and Be'er Sheva.
An IDF spokesperson emphasized that the exercise was planned ahead of time as part of the army's 2016 training schedule. It is intended to maintain the unit's competency and readiness.
