Members of the Balad party responded to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s call to the Attorney General to examine possible legal measures that can be taken against the MKs who met with terrorists’ families.
“Netanyahu is placing wrongful political pressure on the Attorney General and continues to treat him as state secretary. He forgot that the A-G has an independent status and does not take instruction from the PM. Netanyahu’s continued incitement against the Arab MKs is a further stepping stone in the foundation of his corrupt regime of scare tactics and racism, in order to divert discussion from the central topic: returning the bodies to their families.”
