A law by MK Oded Forer (Yisrael Beytenu) that would prevent a person who incited or called for armed struggle against Israel to run for the Knesset will be discussed by the coalition this coming Monday.
The proposal, which is actually an amendment to the Basic Knesset Law, was supposed to be voted upon two weeks ago, but MK Forer agreed to the request of the coalition to postpone a discussion about it in order to allow the coalition to discuss the law before the vote. In view of the meeting between Arab MKs and families of terrorists, it was agreed that the law will be discussed already next week.
