A United Nations panel claims that Wikileaks founder Julian Assange should be freed and receive compensation for the "deprivation of liberty" he has undergone.
Sweden arrested him for rape in 2010, though Assange denies the charge. While waiting for the trial, he fled to London and has been staying at the Ecuadorean embassy since 2012.
The UK says that the UN finding "changes nothing," and that it is still bound by European law to extradite Assange to Sweden.
