A UN committee in charge of raising funds for victims of world disasters and conflicts reports that only 50% of funds transferred ultimately reach those in need.
A report published by the committee revealed that the world invests roughly 25 billion dollars each year in aid intended for roughly 125 million people, and that 15 billion dollars are still needed each year.
