U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry criticized the Assad government in Syria on Wednesday, saying President Bashar Al-Assad was interested in a military solution to the crisis in his country and not a political one.
"The continued attacks by the Syrian regime, with the assistance of the Russian Air Force, against opposition-controlled areas and the continued siege of hundreds of thousands of civilians by Assad's allies are a clear indication that the Syrian regime is not interested in a political solution," said Kerry.
