French President Francois Hollande has rejected a proposal to grant the UK veto power over Euro Zone policies. "A country outside of the Euro Zone cannot have a veto over countries in the Euro Zone," he said.
European Council head Donald Tusk suggested such a move yesterday, in order to encourage Britain to remain in the European Union.
While the UK is part of the European Union, it maintains its own currency and is not in the Euro Zone.
