Interior Minister Aryeh Deri finalized on Wednesday morning with the Finance and Transportation Ministries that all students who purchased yearly or semester train or bus passes in advance will benefit from the 14.5% discount, as of the day that the transportation fee reform is implemented- last Monday.
The decision was made after students who purchased long-term bus passes in advance demanded to receive the new discount.
