Yachad Chairman Eli Yishai slammed the government on Tuesday on his Facebook page, following the passing of the new “Infiltration Law.”
Yishai explained, “Instead of adopting measures and dealing with the illegal infiltrators, the government decided to shorten their stay at the Holot detention center. The residents of southern Tel-Aviv, Eilat and Arad are crying out against the infiltrator phenomenon and there is no one in the government to fight on their behalf. We cannot be silence in the face of the ongoing wrongdoings against locals who suffer on a daily basis.”
