A prisoner at Tzalmon Prison in northern Israel lost consciousness this morning (Monday). Guards and emergency responders tried to revive him but were unsuccessful.
The prisoner, a 37-year-old Arab resident from northern Israel, was sentenced to eight months in prison for violent crimes.
The Israel Prison Service has stated that they do not suspect criminal activity. Even so, a committee will investigate the incident.
