UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has published an article in the New York Times, in which he attacks Israel for, among other issues, its policy of building in Judea and Samaria.

Ban repeated a number of his previous arguments, including that building for Jews in Judea and Samaria is "an affront to the Palestinian people," and that "it is human nature to resist occupation."

He also stated: "Criticism of the United Nations -- or attacks against me -- comes with the territory. But when heartfelt concerns about shortsighted or morally damaging policies emanate from so many sources, including Israel's closest friends, it cannot be sustainable to keep lashing out at every well-intentioned critic."
