Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has commented on the threat of terror tunnels from Gaza.
"We are working methodically and calmly against all of the numerous threats from Hamas, through both defensive and offensive means. Of course, should we be attacked by tunnels from Gaza, we will act with great strength against Hamas, and with much more strength than that which we used in Protective Edge," he told a conference of Israeli ambassadors held by the Foreign Ministry.
He added: "I think that this is understood in the region, and understood in the world. I hope that we will not need to do so but our ability, both defensive and offensive, can be developed quickly and I would not suggest trying us."
